During an event in Ho Chi Minh City on January 13, 2024, Lynk & Co, a Chinese car brand owned by the Geely Group, pleasantly surprised many with the official announcement of the price for its small-sized SUV 01.

The Lynk & Co small-sized SUV is set to retail at 999 million VND in the Vietnamese market, which is a staggering 791 million VND cheaper than its competitor, the Volvo XC40 (priced at 1.79 billion VND). This attractive pricing offers a plethora of options for car buyers in Vietnam.

The Lynk & Co 01 is the smallest, cheapest, and most agile member in the Lynk & Co lineup. Since its debut in the domestic market, it has received an overwhelmingly positive response. Positioned in the compact SUV segment, it boasts dimensions of 4,549 x 1,860 x 1,689 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,734 mm.

With its stylish LED headlights and taillights, as well as a sleek Urban Matrix grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, the exterior of the Lynk & Co 01 leaves a strong impression. Inside, the 5-seater interior offers leather-wrapped steering wheel/seats, a 12.8-inch touchscreen center display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror…

The Lynk & Co 01 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum power of 218 horsepower at 5,000 RPM and a peak torque of 325 Nm at 1,800 – 4,500 RPM. This heart is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, boasting an average fuel consumption of 7.4 liters per 100 km.
