Established in 2016, Lynk & Co is a global car brand that is a joint venture between Geely Automotive and Volvo Car Group.

In 2021, the company began its “invasion” of the European market with unique business strategies to fully leverage its strengths.

In Europe, customers can become members of Lynk & Co and have the option to pick up their cars within a month. They also have the flexibility to cancel or postpone their membership at any time.

Lynk & Co stands out with its innovative approach to car distribution. For online customers, the company has developed a user-friendly website that offers a comprehensive experience. From a visually appealing interface that showcases the key features of the cars to a seamless and quick ordering process, Lynk & Co prioritizes customer satisfaction.

For customers who prefer to make a purchase in person, Lynk & Co offers a unique experience by creating “clubs” instead of traditional showrooms. These clubs serve as social spaces where customers can not only test drive the cars but also enjoy live DJ performances, watch movies, access exclusive fashion deals, and even participate in yoga sessions or interact with pets.

Additionally, customers have the option to rent out their cars through a car-sharing platform when they are not using them, helping to reduce monthly costs.

Currently, Lynk & Co has established several car rental clubs in France and has expanded to six more countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Spain, and Italy. The company also has plans to open its first branch in the UK in 2024.

Club members can rent cars for approximately 500 euros per month (equivalent to over 13 million VND). Starting from 2024, the rental price will increase to 550 euros per month (approximately 14.6 million VND). Renters can use the cars themselves or continue to rent them out.

This attractive car rental policy has helped Lynk & Co attract a large number of club members. As of April 2023, the company has a total of 200,000 registered members, with approximately 25,000 members from the French market.

A representative from Lynk & Co explained that the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the company to explore and adopt innovative business strategies. With many people hesitant to make a significant investment in purchasing a car, car rental has become a practical and safe alternative.

In addition to establishing a widespread car rental network, Lynk & Co has also made a notable impact in the European market.

By the end of 2022, the company had sold a total of 30,000 cars in Europe, a significant increase compared to the 7,000 cars sold in 2021.

In 2024, Lynk & Co will further expand its car rental services. The company also plans to introduce electric cars to its product lineup, offering consumers a broader range of choices.

Currently, Lynk & Co has established 12 Lynk & Co Clubs worldwide, including 11 clubs in six European countries and five centers in the Middle East. As part of its expansion strategy in the Southeast Asian market, Vietnam is a significant destination.

Recently, the Lynk & Co car brand officially launched in Vietnam, introducing three SUV models – 01, 05, and 09. The company has also opened its first showroom at Tasco Mall (Hanoi) and a Lynk & Co Club.

These milestones mark Lynk & Co’s commitment to bringing quality products and services to Vietnamese consumers and its ongoing journey to conquer the Vietnamese car market.
