Suzuki dealerships are currently offering discounts on three models, the Ertiga Hybrid, XL7, and Swift, with savings of up to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD) starting from the beginning of 2024. The discount applies to the automatic (AT) version of the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid, with a reduction of up to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD), while the manual (MT) version still has a discount of around 84 million VND (approximately 3,600 USD). The reason for this significant discount is that the AT version is a 2022 model, while the MT version is the 2023 version.
This substantial discount brings the actual price of the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid to the lowest among its competitors, ranging from around 455 to 470 million VND (approximately 19,000 to 20,000 USD), depending on the dealership and promotional policies. The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid has experienced multiple discounts since its launch in September 2022, gradually increasing the discount to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD) as of now. However, the sales volume of this model has not met expectations. By the end of November 2023, the Ertiga Hybrid had only sold slightly over 800 units, which is significantly lower compared to competitors in the same segment, such as the Mitsubishi Xpander (nearly 17,000 units) and Toyota Veloz Cross (over 7,600 units).
The XL7, another Suzuki model, is also currently discounted by up to 70 million VND (approximately 3,000 USD), bringing the price down from 600 million VND (approximately 25,700 USD) to 530 million VND (approximately 22,800 USD). By the end of November 2023, the XL7 had already sold more than 2,300 units. The smaller-sized Swift is also discounted by approximately 55 million VND (approximately 2,400 USD), depending on the dealership, with a selling price of around 505 million VND (approximately 21,700 USD).
The Suzuki Swift is the most appealing B-segment hatchback available in the Vietnamese market. Currently, the model is in its final life cycle and is expected to launch a new version in the near future, as the new generation with significant changes, including a hybrid version, has already been introduced in the Japanese market.
The Suzuki Swift sold in the Vietnamese market is fully imported from Thailand. It is equipped with a 10-inch touch screen that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an integrated reverse camera, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity. Under the hood, the Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.2L K12M engine with four cylinders, producing a maximum power of 82 PS and maximum torque of 108 Nm, combined with a CVT gearbox. In the Vietnamese market, the Suzuki Swift competes with models such as the Toyota Wigo and Hyundai Grand i10.
