Introduced since November 22, 2023, the Mercedes-AMG SL 43 convertible has officially arrived at the dealership and is ready for customer delivery.
Accordingly, the starting price for this car is 6.959 billion VND, making it a direct competitor to the Porsche 911.
The car has overall dimensions of 4,702 x 1,915 x 1,362 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
The Mercedes-AMG SL 43 sports an athletic and dynamic design. The exterior of the car features smooth curves combined with black details that create accents, such as the grille, front bumper, side trims, mirror covers, and exhaust pipes, in the AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II exterior design packages.
The SL 43 is equipped with the AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension system, high-performance AMG brakes with gold-painted calipers, a rear-wheel steering system with a maximum steering angle of 2.5 degrees, and an active aerodynamics control system called AIRPANEL with an automatically adjustable rear spoiler.
The interior of the new Mercedes-AMG SL 43 convertible is a combination of analog geometry and digital technology, known as “Hyperanalog”. This is demonstrated through the digital instrument cluster integrated into the 3D windshield.
The car is also equipped with an 11.9-inch touchscreen center display that provides various specific display styles and different modes. The digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel with a 12.3-inch color screen is designed like a powerful air vent integrated into a high-tech panel to prevent reflection caused by sunlight, giving the interior a more impressive sporty look.
The car features a 3-spoke AMG Performance sports steering wheel wrapped in premium Nappa leather, integrated with touch-sensitive control buttons, enhancing a sporty, personalized, and agile driving experience. The AMG Performance seats for the driver and front passenger have a special design and robust material to provide body-hugging support, delivering an even more exhilarating driving experience at high speeds. The seats are upholstered in Nappa leather and DINAMICA microfiber with yellow or red decorative stitching, emphasizing the unique personality of the owner.
The Mercedes-AMG SL 43 is powered by a Mild-hybrid 2.0L 4-cylinder engine following the “One man, One engine” philosophy inherited from the development process of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 racing team. It delivers a maximum power of 381 horsepower and a peak torque of 480 Nm, combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. As a result, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 275 km/h.
