Mercedes-Benz will unveil the next generation of the completely new MBUX infotainment system at the CES 2024 technology exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, in January.
The German luxury car company has made significant upgrades to this system in the new generation. The most notable feature is the voice assistant activated by the command Hey Mercedes, which can interact with users as if it were real. With this feature, users can activate numerous functions in their Mercedes-Benz cars using voice commands.
In addition to software upgrades, MBUX has also received significant graphic updates by utilizing the high-resolution game engine from Unity.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the interface showcased at CES 2024 is just a concept version. Therefore, this new MBUX infotainment system may be featured in select models of the company starting from next year.
Prior to this, Mercedes-Benz had provided a sneak peek of the new interface of this infotainment system on the concept model CLA Class, which was revealed at the Munich exhibition in September. It’s likely that when the model is released in 2024, the new infotainment system will be introduced simultaneously.
In addition to the new MBUX infotainment system interface, the German automaker also presents the EQG, a pure electric version of the G-Class, for users to admire at CES 2024.
