Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, the founder and Chairman of Vingroup, has taken on a new role as the Global CEO of VinFast. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, including global production, sales, and marketing strategy.
VinFast, the electric car manufacturer, recently announced changes in its leadership. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, who previously served as the Chairman of the VinFast Board of Directors, has now assumed the position of VinFast CEO, taking over from Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy.
Additionally, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong will also serve as the Executive Director, while Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors.
As the new Global CEO of VinFast, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong will directly oversee the company’s operations, including global production, sales, and marketing strategy.

VinFast has also announced the appointment of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Mr. David Mansfield. Ms. Lan Anh, who joined Vingroup in 2020, has held various positions within the group and its subsidiaries.
VinFast stated that these leadership changes are part of its preparation for a new phase of development and global market expansion.
Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy expressed confidence in VinFast’s future success, citing its strong production foundation, expanding distribution network, and talented workforce. She believes that under the leadership and business acumen of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, VinFast will continue to thrive.
While her title has changed, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy will continue to engage with external partners and oversee VinFast’s fundraising activities.

Prior to these changes, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy held the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Global CEO since March 2022. She has been with Vingroup since 2008 and has held various leadership roles within the company.
