The 2024 Rebel 500 comes in three main colors: New Black Blue, New Black Silver, and Matte Black, which are carried over from the 2023 version. The New Black Blue version replaces the red color from the 2023 model, while the New Black version replaces the previous gray color with a silver color.
The Rebel 500 appeals to enthusiasts of large displacement motorcycles with its simplicity, cleanliness, and versatility. It features a high tank and handlebars, providing a classic feel. The tubular frame, low center of gravity, and tapered shape towards the rear allow riders to maintain a straight back and comfortably stretch their legs on long journeys. The motorcycle is also highly maneuverable for navigating crowded city streets. With a seat height of 690mm, it is suitable for the majority of Vietnamese people.
The Rebel 500 is equipped with a 471cc parallel twin DOHC engine, featuring 8 valves and liquid cooling. The engine generates a maximum power of 33.5 kW at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 43.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The improved PGM-FI fuel injection system provides smoother operation and stable acceleration, delivering higher torque at lower rpm. The engine also incorporates a two-way assist and slip clutch system, resulting in a lighter clutch lever and smoother shifting. Additionally, the motorcycle is equipped with front and rear single disc brakes, along with ABS brakes to prevent wheel lock on slippery surfaces.
This 500cc cruiser features a front telescopic fork with 41mm diameter tubes and twin coil springs at the rear wheel. The wheels are made of lightweight and durable alloy, complemented by an 11.2-liter fuel tank that offers convenience for users.
The minimalist round clock face, compact size, negative LCD display with gear position indication, LED front lights, turn signal system, and rear lights are retained from the previous model.
The new Rebel 500 is imported from Thailand and is sold with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty policy starting from January 21, 2024, at Honda BigBike Stores. The suggested retail price, including VAT, is 181,300,000 VND.
