Rolls-Royce Spectre: Vietnam Welcomes the Ultimate Luxury Electric Car for Lunar New Year

The Rolls-Royce Spectre, a luxurious electric car model, made its debut to the Vietnamese market on January 12th, with a price tag starting from 18 billion VND. Vietnam becomes the 5th market in the ASEAN region to offer the Rolls-Royce Spectre, following Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

The post-tax selling price of the Rolls-Royce Spectre in Vietnam is announced at VND 17.99 billion. This price is lower than the Wraith model previously sold in our country because this luxury electric car is not subject to engine displacement tax.

Prior to this, Rolls-Royce had launched the Spectre in many other Southeast Asian markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. The converted selling price in Singapore reached over VND 37 billion.

Spectre is the first all-electric commercial car by Rolls-Royce, launched globally since the end of 2022. The design of the car is inspired by its “siblings” Phantom Coupe and Wraith, with a luxurious coupe style.

The weight of the car is up to 2,975 kg, despite using an aluminum frame, it is still heavy due to the large battery pack. The wheelset design is extremely impressive.

The fastback coupe body design gives Spectre the widest illuminating Pantheon grille ever equipped on a mass-produced Rolls-Royce car. This grille has 22 separate LED lights similar to its “ancestor” Ghost.

The Spirit of Ecstasy iconic emblem has been redesigned after 830 hours of aerodynamic testing, giving the car a drag coefficient of 0.25, the lowest among any Rolls-Royce models.

The interior of the luxury electric coupe still retains the classic Rolls-Royce design, accompanied by some new features to increase modern and youthful appearance.

Instead of making a simple dashboard, the manufacturer still keeps the round air vents, physical buttons, and the center screen. The passenger-side dashboard has an additional screen.

The familiar starry sky on the car’s ceiling now appears on the dashboard (Illuminated Fascia with 5,500 stars) or the door trim (Starlight Door – 4,796 stars).

The car uses two electric motors placed on two axles, the front motor produces 255 horsepower and 365 Nm of torque, while the rear motor generates 483 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque.

The combined power on the Rolls-Royce Spectre reaches 584 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds. The manufacturer announced a range of 530 km when fully charged, and it takes 34 minutes to charge the battery from 10 to 80% using a 195kW DC charger.
