The all-new 2024 Suzuki Swift was introduced in late November 2023 and has recently made its official appearance in select dealerships.
Suzuki Swift 2024 measures 3,860 x 1,695 x 1,500mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,450mm. In comparison to the previous generation, the 2024 Suzuki Swift is 20mm longer, 5mm taller, and 40mm narrower.
The new generation of Suzuki Swift retains the fundamental design elements of its predecessor. The front of the car features a slightly smaller honeycomb grille, with the Suzuki S logo now positioned on the hood. The headlights showcase a fresh design and are accompanied by a smaller air vent on the front bumper, accentuated with faux aluminum details.
The exterior of the 2024 Suzuki Swift maintains its distinctive two-tone style with black door mirrors, pillars, and roof. A new crease line above the door handle has been added as a new design element. Additionally, the rear door handles have been reverted to the traditional style, no longer hidden on the C-pillar. The wheel design has also been refreshed, exuding a more youthful and dynamic appeal.
The rear of the car features smaller and more square LED taillights, complemented by a tone-sur-tone black backdrop on the rear bumper.
Regarding the interior, the cabin of the Suzuki Swift has been significantly improved compared to the previous version. However, the overall equipment remains fairly simple, featuring a 9-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and satellite navigation. The Swift 2024 now incorporates a lever-style air conditioner button, replacing the previous round knob.
Suzuki Swift 2024 is equipped with a CD player, located just above the USB charging ports.
Additionally, the car is equipped with various amenities such as heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, 2 USB ports, a touch screen with front/rear parking assistance, paddle shifters, and a 360-degree camera.
In terms of safety equipment, the car boasts a number of driving assistance features including an improved emergency braking system, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic reverse braking, automatic headlights, and traffic sign recognition.
The Japanese market version of the Suzuki Swift 2024 is equipped with a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with an undisclosed CVT gearbox. The Japanese automaker promises enhanced fuel efficiency and performance with the new engine.
The petrol engine is accompanied by an electric motor to optimize fuel savings and acceleration, although it does not feature temporary pure electric operation. The drivetrain is available in front-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive configurations.
Following its launch in the Japanese market, there are indications that this model will also be introduced in other markets, including Vietnam.
