Recently, Haval unveiled official images of their brand-new large SUV, the H9, to the Chinese media, attracting significant attention.

As a next-generation model, it adopts a modern and family-friendly design with a robust and rugged appearance. Based on the currently known dimensions and power, the price of the new Haval H9 is expected to be comparable to the current model.

The current Haval H9 on the market

In terms of appearance, the design of the all-new Haval H9 features a classic and angular shape, conveying a sturdy and bold presence. The front fascia showcases a square pattern grille and traditional round headlights, while the air intakes adopt parallel lines and decorative rivets, creating a distinctive visual effect. The lower section of the front bumper is equipped with a protective plate to safeguard the vehicle from collisions in challenging terrain conditions.

Along the vehicle’s sides, the body lines of the all-new Haval H9 flow seamlessly, incorporating convex and concave lines that epitomize the ruggedness characteristic of off-road vehicles.

The large military-style arch wheel design accentuates the robust body shape, showcasing the distinctive features of an off-road vehicle. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with an external spare tire, and the tailgate maintains a side-opening design.

Newly released photos reveal a redesigned interior, featuring an updated steering wheel and a spacious central control screen. The gear lever design aligns with other models in Haval’s product lineup, emphasizing functionality with tactile buttons and knobs.

Under the hood, the all-new Haval H9 is expected to offer a choice between a 2.0T gasoline engine and a 2.4T diesel engine, both paired with either an 8AT or 9AT transmission. The current Haval H9 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 165 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
