After one month of use, the 2023 Peugeot 408 is being sold for nearly 300 million less than the new price.

Recently, on social media, there was news about the sale of a 2023 Peugeot 408 for over 1.1 billion VND. As per the seller’s information, this car was registered in December 2023 and has only traveled 2,600 km.

The Peugeot 408 GT version is currently being distributed by an authorized dealer with a listed price of 1.269 billion VND. Including the registration costs and taxes, the on-road price of this SUV model is as high as 1.4 billion VND. Therefore, a potential buyer who is willing to buy a “second-hand” car can save up to nearly 300 million VND.

Positioned in the C-segment SUV category, the Peugeot 408 has dimensions of 4,690 x 1,859 x 1,480 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,787 mm. These dimensions of the car are slightly larger than its competitors, the Mazda CX-5 and Honda CR-V.

In terms of exterior design, the top-of-the-line Peugeot 408 GT version is equipped with Matrix LED headlights, a body-colored grille, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the other two versions are equipped with regular LED headlights, a chrome-plated grille, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

With dimensions close to a D-segment SUV, the Peugeot 408 stands out with its spacious interior. Key features include a 10-inch touchscreen behind the steering wheel and a center screen, ambient lighting, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, and a premium 6-speaker sound system.

Powering the Peugeot 408 in the Vietnamese market is a 1.6L PureTech engine. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, the car can deliver a maximum power of 218 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
