VinFast demonstrates its technological capabilities at CES 2024

Simultaneously, the electric bike DrgnFly officially hit the streets of Las Vegas alongside the VF 8 D-SUV model.

On December 26, VinFast announced its third participation in the renowned CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, which will take place from January 9 to January 12 (local time) in the US. Notably, the Vietnamese automaker disclosed its plan to launch a new concept car and officially introduce the e-SUV VF 3 mini, the DrgnFly electric bike, alongside a range of car and technology experience activities.

CES is the most prominent and influential technology event worldwide, attracting breakthrough technologies and creators from every corner of the globe. Let’s marvel at the striking display booth and images of VinFast cars “taking over” Las Vegas.

Information on the official website of CES 2024 reveals that VinFast’s booth is located at booth 6417 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Opening to the public from January 9th to 12th, the booth boasts a vibrant, youthful color tone with eye-catching box-shaped decorations. One corner of the booth showcases the VF 9 E-SUV model outfitted in an impressive Spiderman costume for the first time.

As announced by VinFast, the VF 9 model displayed at CES 2024 comes equipped with an innovative online entertainment service that allows visitors to experience it firsthand. From the images, we can spot this unique technology feature called RideVu – an online streaming service developed by Sony for in-car entertainment systems, enabling users to purchase or rent hundreds of movies and TV shows through the system. With this partnership, it is highly likely that VinFast owners in the US will be the first to enjoy Sony’s latest service.

Currently, the latest concept car from VinFast hasn’t been revealed. However, based on the tantalizing images shared by the company, many speculate that this “mysterious factor” will be a pure electric pickup truck. This prediction holds a basis as North America represents the most potential market for electric pickup trucks, and the Vietnamese electric carmaker has a reason to unveil a new model to the public at CES 2024.

The VF 3 mini e-SUV is also an eagerly anticipated name, globally launched by VinFast at CES 2024. As a practical electric car at an expected affordable price, the VF 3 is set to attract considerable attention in the North American market and could even become the national car for several countries.

During the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to test drive VinFast electric cars, particularly the “newcomer” DrgnFly electric bike. This line of bikes was present at CES 2023 and exhibition events in Vietnam as a concept product. The test drive area for VinFast near Caesars Palace – the luxury capital in Las Vegas, the “city that never sleeps” – is now ready. The area showcases VF 8 and VF 9 models as well as the “flesh and bone” DrgnFly bikes.

DrgnFly features a playful design reminiscent of BMX mountain bikes, complemented by various modern features such as adjustable LED front lights, front/rear disc brakes, adjustable front suspension, and a display screen accompanied by a customizable power assist and electric mode switch.

The launch of VF 3 and DrgnFly models further expands VinFast’s range of electric vehicles, making environmentally friendly green cars increasingly accessible for users.

The VF 9 and VF 8 cars “parade” along Las Vegas’ central street against the backdrop of Mandalay Bay resort, entertainment and entertainment complex – an iconic attraction of the “entertainment capital” of the American West. The pervasive presence of VinFast cars on American streets signifies the Vietnamese electric car brand’s ever-growing stronghold in the global market.
