During CES 2024, VinFast Auto (Nasdaq: VFS), the leading electric vehicle company in Vietnam, showcased its latest concept car – the VF Wild. Representing VinFast’s commitment to expanding its product line and promoting sustainable mobility, the VF Wild is the company’s first pickup truck model, designed to offer smart, versatile, safe, and accessible electric vehicles for all.
The VF Wild concept car exemplifies VinFast’s innovative approach in creating a modern and adventurous electric pickup truck, providing a sustainable mobility solution with powerful performance for the new generation of users.
The VF Wild is a mid-size pickup truck, measuring 209 inches (5,324 mm) in length and 79 inches (1,997 mm) in width. Its compact design optimizes space through a flexible expandable storage compartment, automatic folding windshield, and rear seats that extend the storage length from 5 to 8 feet (1,524 to 2,438 mm). This makes it the longest in its segment, providing ample space for carrying goods, resting, or entertainment, maximizing convenience for users.
The VF Wild concept car also features a panoramic sunroof and electronic rearview mirrors to enhance its aerodynamics.
The design of the VF Wild is the result of a collaboration between VinFast and Gomitiv Design Company from Australia. It underwent over 8,000 hours of research and development, involving leading designers. Inspired by the image of a superhero’s cape fluttering in the wind, VinFast and Gomotiv engineers created the “Flow Power” design language specifically for the VF Wild.
VinFast’s new concept car makes a bold statement with its distinctive naming convention. “Wild” symbolizes the power of nature and the spirit of pushing limits to achieve a green future for everyone – a mission that the Vietnamese automaker wholeheartedly embraces.
