After winning the auction with a bid of up to 8.78 billion VND, many people speculate that the special license plate 11A-111.11 will be attached to a luxury car with a high price tag.

The rare and unique license plate 11A-111.11 from Cao Bang province was auctioned by the Vietnam Joint Auction Company on December 22, 2023. After just 30 minutes of bidding, this license plate was sold to a wealthy individual for a whopping amount of 8.78 billion VND. Shortly after, the buyer completed the financial procedures, which included paying an additional 8.74 billion VND (excluding the 40 million VND deposit for the license plate).

At that time, many people believed that this VIP license plate would be attached to a car of equivalent value. However, recently, the vehicle with the license plate 11A-111.11 has appeared on the streets, surprising many people.

It turns out that the license plate 11A-111.11 is now attached to a Honda CR-V, which is priced at just over 1 billion VND. This means that the value of the license plate is more than 8 times higher than the value of the car. Thanks to its super VIP license plate, this Honda CR-V has become the most expensive car in Vietnam, even surpassing the price of the Lexus LX600.

The Honda CR-V is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged DOHC 4-cylinder petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 188 horsepower and a peak torque of 240 Nm, combined with a CVT gearbox.
