The Hyundai Santa Fe 2024 has reportedly undergone road testing by Motor1. Despite being covered in camouflage, the captured images reveal that the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe will have a more spacious interior, as well as an increased height and length compared to the current generation. According to Motor1, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe features a front daytime running light cluster in the shape of the letter H, which is also integrated with turn signal functionality. The cutouts on the camouflage at the front of the car are believed to be for sensors and cameras, leading Motor1 to speculate that this prototype of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe closely resembles the future commercial version in terms of shape and design. |
The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe’s 20-inch wheels appear relatively small compared to the overall size. Along with the extended body and square-shaped tail design, Motor1 suggests that the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe resembles the Land Rover Defender.
The turn signal cluster is positioned low below the rear bumper, similar to the design language used by Hyundai and Kia in recent models. The majority of the taillight cluster remains cleverly disguised, indicating that the rear of the car will undergo significant changes in the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe.
At the rear of the car, the cutouts on the camouflage are believed to be for rear parking sensors and a backup camera. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe prototype shown in the images also features a large sunroof design.
In March, the interior of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe was spotted with large touchscreen displays on the dashboard.

Hyundai still retains physical buttons for some adjustments on the car, while knobs are used for temperature control. The gear shift lever is moved to a position behind the steering wheel to optimize space between the two front seats, coupled with paddle shifters.
According to plans, the new-generation Hyundai Santa Fe will be introduced globally by the end of this year. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is likely to be launched in South Korea before being introduced to the United States and other markets around the world.
