The Vespa 946 Dragon is expected to be brought to Vietnam after the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Recently, Piaggio Group officially introduced a special edition version of the Vespa 946 in Hong Kong. Accordingly, the Vespa 946 Dragon, a “bone and flesh” model, was showcased at the PMQ Design and Art Center. The event brought together many famous artists from across Asia and influential figures in the fashion and lifestyle industry. Representing Vietnam at the event was Fabo Nguyen, who has influence in the fashion field and is also a Vespa enthusiast.
At the venue, the Vespa 946 Dragon was displayed in a street-style container. Inspired by the image of the Dragon – the mythological creature of the East in 2024, the Vespa 946 Dragon stood out even more under the neon lights, attracting attention.
The first impressive feature of the Vespa 946 Dragon is the elegant golden “dress” with contrasting green emerald dragon motifs, appearing from the front panel to the rear of the vehicle. It is known that this dress of the Vespa 946 Dragon is completely handmade in Italy.
The Vespa 946 Dragon still uses the 3V ie engine, a 4-stroke engine from the old generation instead of the new iGet, with a capacity of 125 or 150cc depending on each market. Compared to other small-frame Vespa models with shared engines, the Vespa 946 Dragon stands out with its 2-channel ABS and traction control system.
In addition, Piaggio Group also introduced the exclusive Dragon Varsity jacket with the same green emerald dragon pattern, featuring a knitted wool body and a nappa leather sleeve. Additionally, there are also limited edition accessories for the Year of the Dragon, such as helmets, rear storage bags, etc.
The limited edition Vespa 946 Dragon is expected to arrive in the Vietnamese market in early April 2024.
