After nearly a year of global launch, recently, the mid-size luxury sedan model Mercedes-Benz E-Class W214 generation was officially introduced to the Southeast Asian market.

In the new generation, the E-Class has dimensions of 4,949 x 1,880 x 1,468 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,961 mm.

The exterior design of the 2024 E-Class shares many similarities with the S-Class, not only in overall shape but also in small details such as flat door handles and chrome trim extending across the trunk lid between the taillights. At the front, the headlights are slimmer, accompanied by a new grille design with a three-pointed star emblem.

The highlight at the rear of the 2024 E-Class is the taillight cluster with a design also inspired by the three-pointed star logo. The car is equipped with multi-spoke wheels with size options from 18-21 inches.

Inside, the cabin of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is inspired by the brand’s electric models such as EQE and EQS, with the latest MBUX infotainment system combined with a full-length surface screen. However, the digital instrument cluster is not integrated into the “super screen” but stands alone at a higher position, providing the driver with a clearer view.

In the sixth generation, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class focuses on software upgrades by integrating various social media platforms and popular games into the infotainment system, such as Webex or Zoom meeting apps, Vivaldi browser, and TikTok.

The car also comes with 5 interior cameras, including one standard equipped for the driver monitoring system. The other four cameras are optional, including a selfie camera, a gesture control camera, a surround view camera for driving assistance system, and a dashboard camera.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2024 is powered by a 2.0L mild-hybrid I4 turbocharged engine, producing 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. There is an additional electric motor with a maximum output of 23 horsepower.

It is paired with a 9-speed 9G-Tronic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 240 km/h.

Introduced in Singapore, the new generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class is available in three versions: E 200 Exclusive, E 200 Avantgarde, and E 200 AMG, with prices ranging from 304,400 USD (7.44 billion VND) to 323,000 USD (7.9 billion VND).
