The fully electric BYD Yuan UP has been fully revealed in a series of official images in China and with the success of the Atto 3/Yuan Plus being greater, this model has the potential to become the next best-selling product from the Chinese car manufacturer.
The design of the front and rear of the BYD Yuan UP
This vehicle is part of BYD’s developing Dynasty lineup and applies the “Dragon face” design language. Compared to the Atto 3, the Yuan UP has a slightly more muscular design, reminiscent of the approach that Jeep applies to its smaller Avenger model. With an attractive appearance, the Yuan UP targets younger buyers.
Official technical specifications from China reveal that the Yuan UP measures 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. The front stands out with sharp headlights, integrated LED daytime running lights, and a black-painted lower bumper with two small air vents.
From the side, the Yuan UP somewhat reminds us of the Mercedes-Benz GLB with its forward protrusion and short rear overhang, thick D-pillar with small rear windows. Other notable elements in the design of the compact SUV include flat door handles and black mudguards. At the rear of the vehicle, there are LED taillights connected by a distinctive and intricate signature and a silver-colored lower diffuser with air channels.
