Dai gia Minh Nhua (also known as Pham Tran Nhat Minh) wants to add more diversity to his Ducati motorcycle collection, so he quickly ordered the limited edition Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversary 916, with a production run of only 500 units worldwide.
It is reported that the process of receiving the bike may extend until mid-2024 because Ducati will start delivering the Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversario 916 to the market from March 2024.
The idea behind the development of the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversario 916 is to pay tribute to the championship-winning Ducati 996 1999 World Superbike ridden by Carl Fogarty. The fairing features the three colors of Italy, while the white number plate and Fogarty’s number “1” are represented in a modern design.
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversario 916 stands out from the standard version with a race fuel tank cap made from machined aluminum, carbon fiber intake tubes for cooling the front brakes, a heat shield for the exhaust pipes, a dual-sided windscreen, and a carbon fiber front mudguard.
It is also equipped with carbon fiber 5-spoke wheels, which reduce the weight by 1.4 kg compared to the forged alloy Marchesini wheels on the V4 S version and 3.4 kg compared to the standard Panigale V4 model.
Unfortunately, the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 30th Anniversario 916 still uses the liquid-cooled Desmosedici Stradale V4 Desmodromic engine, with a displacement of 1,103cc, producing 210 horsepower at 12,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 122 Nm at 11,000 rpm.
