Introduced globally from April 2023, recently, the first McLaren 750S has been officially delivered to customers.
Accordingly, the first McLaren 750S supercar has a Ice White paint color, with ultra-lightweight Vortex 5 twin-spoke wheels and an aerodynamically-designed carbon fiber wing.
The McLaren 750S is considered an upgraded facelift version of the McLaren 720S sports car lineup.
The car still has the iconic drop shape. However, the front bumper has been refreshed with softer and more seamless air intakes. Accompanying that is a contrasting front lip to enhance the sportiness of the supercar.
The side area of the 750S still retains the same design and does not add side skirts like its “sibling” 765LT. Below the expanded rear wheel arches, there are air vents that help improve cooling for the rear brake system.
At the rear of the car, there are familiar slim LED taillights, accompanied by exhaust pipes that are transferred to the center position and facing upwards like the 765LT model. The car’s wing is also larger, increasing downforce on the rear of the car when operating at high speeds or in turns.
With a monocoque carbon fiber chassis platform, the McLaren 750S has an optimized dry weight of only 1,277 kg, 30 kg lighter than the McLaren 720S.
In terms of interior, the cabin of the McLaren 750S does not have much difference compared to the 720S. The entire interior of the car is covered in premium Nappa leather or combined with Alcantara, accompanied by 2 TechLux and Performance styles. The standard carbon fiber racing seat is 17.5 kg lighter than the structure on the 720S, however, the premium racing seat option is even 33% lighter.
The 750S is also supplemented with 2 control buttons at the edge of the digital instrument panel to adjust other operating features.
A new technology introduced on the 750S is the McLaren Control Launcher (MCL) which adds a monitoring angle of the vehicle interface for the driver. Activated by the McLaren Speedmark icon button, MCL allows the driver to personalize the driving experience by storing their own individual driving preferences – it’s the driver’s preferred settings for aerodynamics, handling, transmission, and gearbox – and these options are instantly reactivated with just one MCL button press.
Providing power for the McLaren 750S is still a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters, producing 750 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, bringing powerful performance. The McLaren 750S can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.2 seconds (with the Spider version being 7.3 seconds). Acceleration when shifting gears is improved by optimizing the transmission and improving the kick-down control mode.
The car is upgraded with the Proactive Chassis Control III intelligent suspension system with new adjustable spring stiffness, 3 driving modes: Comfort, Sport, and Track.
In the Vietnamese market, the McLaren 750S and 750S Spider are officially distributed with prices starting from 19.9 billion VND and 20.9 billion VND respectively.
