Along with the honor of receiving the First-class Labor Medal from the Vietnamese government approved by the President, Ford Vietnam also received a commendation from the Minister of Planning and Investment for its outstanding achievements in attracting foreign investment in Vietnam. And personally, General Director Ruchik Shah is also recognized for his contributions with the commemorative medal “For the cause of Planning and Investment.”
Especially, 2023 marked a new sales record for Ford Vietnam with over 38,300 units sold, accounting for 10% market share. Ford continues to lead the market in the pickup truck segment with the Ford Ranger commanding a 76% market share, leading the midsize SUV segment with a 65% market share, and the light commercial vehicle segment with a 62% market share.
Ford Vietnam continuously upgrades its dealership system to meet the increasing demands of customers. The nationwide network of 43 dealerships is creating over 5,000 jobs. A series of new service initiatives have also been actively implemented in recent years such as Online Service Booking, Pick-up and Delivery, and FordPass.
For many years, Ford Vietnam has actively contributed to social responsibility activities such as awarding scholarships, creating playgrounds and libraries for children, providing emergency support during the pandemic, and promoting road safety. The Ford Driving Skills for Life program that we have been running for 16 years has provided free training to over 17,000 drivers nationwide.
