Incorporating various advantages, the price of Haima 7X is now only 750 million VND, which is much lower than its two competitors in the same segment, Toyota Innova Cross and Hyundai Custin.
On December 17, 2023, the Haima brand made its official comeback to Vietnam after being absent for several years. The distribution is done through Carvivu company. The initial model being introduced is the Haima 7X, which comes in two versions: petrol (7X) and pure electric (7X-E).
The price of the Haima 7X is listed at 865 million VND, making it 55 million VND more expensive than the petrol version of the Toyota Innova Cross. Although the selling price of the Haima 7X is not among the cheapest, this model currently enjoys attractive incentives. At the car’s launch, the company announced a discount of 100 million VND, directly deducted from the selling price for early customers who deposit 30 million VND. Moreover, starting from January 18, customers who purchase the car will receive an additional maintenance voucher for 3 years or have the option to convert it into 15 million VND.
With the combination of these two incentives, the selling price of the Haima 7X is reduced to only 750 million VND. Thus, the Chinese MPV model boasts a significantly lower actual price compared to its two competitors in the same segment: the Toyota Innova Cross (priced from 810 – 990 million VND) and the Hyundai Custin (priced from 850 – 999 million VND).
In addition, dealers are also offering customers an extra voucher for 1 year of repairs and car care, valued at 36.5 million VND.
The Haima 7X has dimensions of 4,815 x 1,874 x 1,720 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,860 mm. In comparison, the Toyota Innova Cross measures 4,755 x 1,850 x 1,790 mm with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, while the Hyundai Custin measures 4,950 x 1,850 x 1,725 mm with a wheelbase of 3,055 mm. Therefore, the Haima 7X has the widest width in its segment, albeit with a shorter overall length than the Custin.
The Haima 7X features a design that embodies traditional MPV characteristics, with a relatively short hood and a stout, curved rear end. Inside, this MPV model is equipped with numerous high-end features, including business-class second-row seats, a 12.3-inch display in the cabin, integrated heated and cooled seats, and an advanced safety technology package.
The Haima 7X is powered by a 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with a displacement of 1.6L, delivering a maximum power of 182 horsepower and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive system. The car has a fuel consumption rate of 8.3 liters per 100 km on mixed roads.
