Honda Vietnam has recently officially registered the design copyright for the Honda Giorno+ scooter model.

This move indicates that the Honda Giorno+ will likely be added to Honda’s motorcycle product line in the Vietnamese market soon.

The Giorno+ targets female customers with its overall soft and fashionable design. The dimensions of the scooter are 1,902 x 683 x 1,144 mm. This size is slightly smaller than the SH Mode (1,950 x 669 x 1,100 mm) officially sold in Vietnam.

The Honda Giorno+ 125 possesses a stylish, classic design but also incorporates modern features such as a LED headlight system, Smartkey smart key system, and a digital speedometer.

The scooter has a storage compartment at the front integrated with a phone charging port, and a 30-liter under-seat storage compartment that can fit many personal items and helmets. For user convenience, the scooter’s fuel cap is located in the front, below the hanger.

In Thailand, the Giorno+ 125 is sold in two versions with CBS or ABS braking technology. The scooter is equipped with 12-inch wheels on both front and rear, along with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.

The Honda Giorno+ 125 is powered by a single-cylinder eSP+ engine with a displacement of 125cc, electronic fuel injection, and liquid cooling. This engine is coupled with a CVT continuously variable transmission. The ABS anti-lock braking system is integrated on the front wheel, while the rear wheel uses a drum brake.

In Thailand, the Giorno+ 125 standard CBS version is priced at $1,800 (around 44 million VND) and the ABS version is priced at $1,900 (around 46.5 million VND).

In November 2023, the Honda Giorno+ 125 scooter was also brought to Vietnam. However, this model was not distributed by Honda Vietnam but through some non-official stores specializing in selling motorcycles in Ho Chi Minh City, with prices reaching nearly 100 million VND.
