With the sales of the Aviator model falling nearly 30% last year, it is time for Lincoln to release an upgraded version of this mid-size luxury SUV. Moving into the 2025 model year, the Lincoln Aviator has a sharper and more attractive new look, accompanied by a range of technology improvements, including a larger touchscreen for the entertainment system.
With these upgrades, the Lincoln Aviator is expected to soon improve its sales and help the brand regain its position in the market.
The most notable change for the 2025 Aviator is the redesigned front end, featuring a high-set grille that complements the redesigned headlights. Additionally, the car is also equipped with new LED daytime running lights, making a more impressive statement.
The 2025 Lincoln Aviator is offered in two new exterior colors, Cenote Green and Whisper Blue Metallic, for the premium Black Label trim.
The new Jet Package is available on all versions, adding black accents and trim details, including decorative highlights for the grille, logo, and window surrounds. The Premiere versions receive 21-inch wheels, while the Black Label variants use 22-inch wheels.
Similar to the newly upgraded Ford Explorer received last week, the 2025 Aviator also receives a range of improvements for the interior. These include the new Lincoln Digital Experience entertainment system, allowing passengers to watch YouTube videos or Amazon Prime and even play video games using a Bluetooth-connected controller. This system also allows users to download apps like Spotify and Waze directly from the Google Play store.
The entertainment system is now integrated with a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen placed at the center of the dashboard, while the 12.4-inch screen serves as an updated digital instrument cluster.
Other interior upgrades include the addition of a wireless charging pad on the center console and the availability of four new interior color schemes. In addition, the Black Label model also features the Invitation interior with black leather seats and wine-colored stitching along with special wood accents.
Lincoln has also added more standard features to the 2025 Aviator, including a panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, adaptive suspension…
Especially, for the first time since its launch, the Aviator is equipped with the BlueCruise hands-free driving assistance feature as standard.
All 2025 Aviator models are powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine, producing a maximum output of 400 horsepower and a peak torque of 563 Nm, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 Lincoln Aviator will start to be delivered to customers from the summer with prices ranging from $58,495 to $86,995 (excluding delivery fees), an increase of up to $5,155 to $8,490 compared to the previous model.
