Khai Wu, the MMA coach of Mark Zuckerberg, shared with Forbes that he is unsure if Meta’s CEO can win in the fight against Elon Musk. Regarding this match, Wu revealed that the founder of Facebook is training very hard and is determined.
“Mark trains diligently. Honestly, he’s really good. I’m not sure how the fight will go, so I don’t want to speculate. But like you, I’m excited about the crazy fight,” Khai Wu said.
In 2022, Mark Zuckerberg mentioned on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he chose mixed martial arts because it requires constant focus. Since September 2022, Meta’s CEO has been regularly training with MMA trainer Khai Wu.
After Meta announced plans to compete with Twitter, Elon Musk criticized this plan. However, a social media user warned Tesla’s CEO to be careful because Zuckerberg practices jiu-jitsu.
“I’m ready for a cage fight if he accepts,” Elon Musk wrote on Twitter. Meta’s CEO responded to the challenge with a post on Instagram saying “send me the address.”
Dana White, the head of the UFC, the organization that organizes professional MMA fights, said that the pair are “very serious” about fighting after speaking with both of them over the phone.
On Twitter Space on June 24, Musk stated that he had not started training yet. However, he would actively participate if the duel really takes place.
Bloomberg author Ashlee Vance warned Musk that it “could get ugly” because Zuckerberg is very skilled in martial arts. However, Tesla’s CEO admitted that he believes the fight will happen and is considering combat plans.
