Born from the racetrack, the C 43 is the first commercially available AMG model in the world to feature electric turbocharging technology derived from F1 racing cars. In Vietnam, the number of Mercedes-AMG C 43 cars is not high, so the appearance of this model on the used car market with a price of less than 3 billion dong has surprised many people.
Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic is the high-performance version of the C-Class. From design, engine to the driving ability, the C 43 is sportier than other versions of the C-Class. In Vietnam, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 has a relatively high price and the fact that it has a powerful engine that is not suitable for the majority of people means that there are not many units available. This implies that the appearance of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 on the used car market is quite rare.
However, recently, a used Mercedes-AMG C 43, manufactured in 2023, has been unexpectedly put up for sale at a price that has surprised many people. According to the information provided by the seller, this Mercedes-AMG C 43 has only traveled 5,500 km. The selling price that the owner is asking for is 2.699 billion dong.
At the time of purchase, the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 has a listed price of 2.96 billion dong. In order to have it rolling on the road, estimated additional costs of up to 3.16 billion dong are required. Therefore, the seller has incurred a loss of nearly 500 million dong compared to the purchase time.
The car in this article is painted white on the exterior, while the interior is adorned with luxurious red tones. Overall, the car still looks quite new as it has not been used for much time.
Compared to other versions such as the C 200, C 300 AMG…, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic features a more sporty and aggressive design with AMG-style front and rear bumpers. The wheels also differ as they use 20-inch multi-spoke wheels (other versions of the C-Class have sizes of 18-19 inches), combined with red brake calipers. The center of gravity of the car is also lowered.
Inside the cabin, the Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic is basically the same as the C-Class, however, some details such as the seats, steering wheel… are modified in the sporty style of Mercedes-AMG models. Specifically, the steering wheel on the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic has a flat-bottomed sporty design, integrated with the AMG Dynamic Select driving mode control. In addition, the car also features the MBUX infotainment system and AMG sport seats wrapped in leather.
Providing “power” for the Mercedes-AMG C43 4Matic is the M139 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine supported by 48V Mild Hybrid technology that supplies power to the belt-driven starter-generator (RSG). With this electric turbocharger, the engine in the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is capable of producing a powerful output of up to 408 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 500 Nm in the range of 5,000 rpm, while also being able to supplement an additional 14 horsepower (equivalent to 10 kW) in a short period of time.
Born from the racetrack, this is the first commercially available AMG model in the world to feature electric turbocharging technology derived from F1 racing cars. The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. The top speed of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is up to 250 km/h.
