MG RX5 deal at dealership: Price cut to 580 million VND, equivalent to some compact cars

Specifically, customers who purchase the MG RX5 STD version will now receive a discount of 159 million VND. The price of this version is now only 580 million VND. Meanwhile, the LUX version also receives a discount of 139 million VND, with the price of the car now only 690 million VND.

Some other dealers are also running promotional programs for this model, but the discounts are lower, ranging from 100 to 130 million VND depending on the location. In addition, customers who purchase the MG RX5 will also receive additional accessories and 2 years of body insurance and floor mats.

After applying the discount, the current selling price of the MG RX5 is now on par with A-segment CUV models such as the Hyundai Venue Special Edition (579 million VND) or the Kia Sonet Premium Edition (574 million VND).

This is the 4th promotion since the launch of this C-segment CUV in the Vietnamese market about 4 months ago.

The MG RX5 has dimensions of 4,571 x 1,855 x 1,719 mm (length x width x height). Similar to other MG models, the RX5 features a youthful and modern design. The front of the car is impressive with a large clockface-shaped grille, reminiscent of Lexus.

The headlights are surrounded by a decorative LED strip in the shape of a C. Below, there are two large vertical air vents.

The tail of the car features taillights that have a similar design to the headlights, creating a seamless look for the overall exterior. At the top, the car has a cat’s ear-shaped roof spoiler (only available on the premium version) to increase stability at high speeds and give the CUV a sportier appearance.

Inside the cabin, the MG RX5 stands out with a modern 5-seater configuration. The car has leather seats in two-tone colors, while the dashboard and door panels are decorated with wood trim. The car features a 3-spoke steering wheel and behind it is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The car’s 14.1-inch central touchscreen is placed vertically and integrated with the central control panel.

The car also has other outstanding features such as: GPS satellite navigation system, smart key, push-button start, electronic parking brake, wireless phone charging, and panoramic sunroof.

Under the hood of the MG RX5 is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, with a maximum power of 168 horsepower and a peak torque of 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, with a gear change time of just 0.2 seconds.

In terms of safety features, the car only has basic features such as electronic stability control, front and rear collision sensors, and a 360-degree camera.
