On the morning of January 11th, Vietnam Auction Company (VPA) continued to hold an auction for 3,500 license plates.
The most notable item in the morning session was the 7-digit license plate Hanoi 30K-777.77, which was sold for 9.365 billion VND. This price is relatively high considering that the 7-digit series is not highly valued by license plate collectors compared to other series such as 5, 6, 8, and 9.
In addition to the highly sought-after 7-digit series, several other attractive license plates were sold at high prices, including license plate 30L-155.55 for 700 million VND, license plate 51L-038.38 for 270 million VND, and license plate 30K-879.99 for 245 million VND…
According to the Traffic Police Department, as of January 8th, over 11,000 license plates have been successfully auctioned off for a total amount of nearly 1.7 trillion VND. Out of these, about 9,500 license plates have completed their financial obligations, contributing approximately 1 trillion VND to the state budget. Currently, there are still around 2,000 license plates that are awaiting payment after winning the auction.
