After a long teaser campaign, Hyundai has finally unveiled the upgraded version of the Creta. In the Indian market, the Hyundai Creta 2024 starts at 1,099,900 Rs (13,230 USD).
The Hyundai Creta 2024 is available in 7 variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The exterior color options for the Creta facelift include 6 solid color options and 1 dual-tone option. In this upgrade, the Hyundai Creta has been redesigned with a refreshed exterior, upgraded premium interior, and more features.
The new facelifted Creta has significant changes to its exterior. The car features a new front grille design with black chrome accents, refined LED headlights and daytime running lights, refreshed front and rear bumpers, as well as new faux skid plates and dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, the compact SUV has a redesigned tailgate, new taillights, and a full-width LED light bar that extends across the width of the car, along with a new faux diffuser with a high-mounted brake light, 3D Hyundai logo, and new reflectors.
The car comes with standard 6 airbags, and the top variants are equipped with an advanced ADAS Level 2 driver-assistance system. This system includes 19 features with some important additional features such as adaptive cruise control, night vision assistance, blind spot detection, and collision avoidance technology. The equipment list includes over 70 safety features and 36 features, some of which are already available on the standard variant.
The interior of the facelifted Creta has also been updated to offer more space, comfort, and convenience for the users. Some key highlights include a 10.25-inch dual-screen system for the infotainment and instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The center console has been updated and comes with a 2-zone automatic climate control, along with an 8-speaker premium Bose sound system.
Other notable features include voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, newly patterned leatherette seats, leather-wrapped gear knob, rear headrest cushion, 2-step reclining rear seats, tire pressure monitoring system, leather-wrapped D-cut steering wheel, interior ambient lighting, disc brakes on all four wheels, and electronic stability control.
In terms of engines, the familiar 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines are retained in the facelifted version. The 1.5L petrol engine delivers 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque, while the 1.5L diesel engine produces 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a new turbocharged 1.5L petrol engine with a higher power output of 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. The car is available with 4 transmission options including a 6-speed manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and 6-speed automatic.
