Son Nam International Transport Company Limited and Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) have organized a vehicle handover ceremony and the opening of the first electric taxi service in Nghe An under the MaiLove brand. Initially, 50 VinFast VF 5 cars out of a total of 305 rented from GSM will be put into operation by Son Nam, gradually replacing the current gasoline cars.
Under the contract signed between the two parties, Son Nam will rent 255 VinFast VF 5 cars and 50 VinFast VF e34 cars from GSM to operate the MaiLove electric taxi service in Nghe An. Son Nam Company (formerly known as Mai Linh Nghe An Company, previously well-known for the Open Taxi brand) will also be the exclusive partner of GSM in Nghe An to deploy the electric taxi service, thereby promoting green transportation trends and contributing to making Nghe An one of the Green Provinces of the country.
Painted in eye-catching green, the MaiLove electric taxi will bring the people of Nghe An a civilized, modern, and environmentally friendly transportation option. The VinFast electric cars, with the advantages of no odor, no noise, and no emissions, equipped with many driver assistance and intelligent entertainment features, will provide customers with safe and comfortable trips, while helping the operating unit save significant costs compared to gasoline cars.
Customers in Nghe An can book a taxi and experience the MaiLove electric taxi service through the hotline 02383 57 57 57, or directly wave down the green taxi on the road similar to traditional taxis. It is expected that this year, GSM will also integrate the MaiLove electric taxi calling service on the pure electric Green SM platform, allowing customers to easily book a taxi through the application to know the fare in advance and pay in more diverse ways.
