The Jimny 5-door is produced at the Maruti Suzuki factory in Gurugram, India, for both the domestic and export markets. India is also the first market to receive the Jimny 5-door with a starting price of 1,074,000 Rs (equivalent to 13,000 USD).
Developed based on the philosophy of ‘Purity of Function,’ the Suzuki Jimny 5-door features a square body ratio and distinctive design elements such as clamshell hood, vertical slots in the front grille, and round headlights.

The luggage compartment capacity is 208 liters (332 liters when the rear seats are folded) and the ground clearance is 210 mm. The vehicle has an approach angle of 36 degrees and a departure angle of 50 degrees.
In terms of performance, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a maximum power of 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 134 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The engine is paired with a standard 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
