After a long period of pre-orders, the Volkswagen Teramont X large SUV model has recently been displayed at dealerships, ready to be delivered to customers.
Accordingly, the vehicle is only distributed in Vietnam with one version, with an expected selling price of VND 2.168 billion.
The Teramont X is developed based on the famous MQB platform of the Volkswagen Group, with dimensions of 4,917 x 1,989 x 1,729 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,980 mm. With these dimensions, the car is positioned in the large SUV segment, competing with the Hyundai Palisade, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
The Teramont X features a modern and youthful design, along with many advanced technological features.
The front of the car impresses with a 2-tier LED matrix headlight with 4 lighting modes and automatic switching. The advanced lighting system supports light blind spots, helping the driver confidently drive at night or in bad weather.
The rear of the car has two taillights designed together with each other using black trim, along with a square-shaped rear bumper, below which are two fake exhaust pipes. The car is also equipped with 21-inch R-Line wheels, red brake calipers, and Goodyear tires.
In terms of interior, the Teramont X has a spacious 5-seat configuration. The car owns a range of outstanding utilities such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch touchscreen entertainment screen, a HUD windshield display, a premium 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, interior decorative lights, panoramic sunroof, power-operated trunk (with kick-to-open function), etc.
Providing power for the Teramont X in Vietnam is a turbocharged 2.0L gasoline engine, delivering 217 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive.
In terms of safety features, the Teramont X possesses a series of driving support functions such as driver attention alert, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), front/rear Park Distance Control (PDC), Hands-off Detection (HOD) steering warning system, emergency braking system (for monitoring pedestrians and bicycles), forward collision warning (FCW), emergency brake assist (AEB), lane change assist, 9 airbags, etc.
