In many major markets around the world, compact SUVs are dominating the list of best-selling car models. For example, in the US, in the Top 25 best-selling car models of 2023, we can easily find many compact crossover models. Specifically, the Ford Escape ranks 25th, followed by the Subaru Forester at 24th, Mazda CX-5 (23), Subaru Crosstrek (21), Hyundai Tucson (15), Chevrolet Equinox (14), Nissan Rogue (9), Honda CR-V (6) and Toyota RAV4 in 4th place.

Among them, it is worth mentioning the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, which are fiercely competing for sales, aiming for the number one position in the US market. The important thing for the CR-V now is to maintain its appeal to users as Toyota may release an all-new RAV4 later this year as the current fifth-generation model was introduced in 2018. Meanwhile, the sixth-generation Honda CR-V was launched in 2022 and has not undergone many changes since then.

There is no need to be too worried, the digital artists of the AutoYa Youtube channel have created a design illustration for a potential upgrade version of the Honda CR-V. What is particularly special is that looking at this rendering, we feel like it is a genuine Honda.

This upgraded version receives subtle changes everywhere. The grille is slightly compacted and the sleek headlight clusters are extended on both sides. The front bumper is also refined for a more harmonious look for the front of the car.

Especially, inside the cabin, the car receives a large vertical touchscreen that resembles a tablet. This design is reminiscent of the center screen of the Ford Everest.

What do you think of this upgraded version of the Honda CR-V, and do you think the official upgraded version will be more refined or more magnificent than the car in the rendering? Let’s wait and see!
