According to information from some sales consultants at dealerships, the upgraded 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross will be brought to the Vietnamese market in the second quarter of this year with many changes in exterior and interior design. The car is said to remove the standard G version, keeping only 2 versions V and HV, thereby increasing the clear distance compared to its sibling, the Yaris Cross. The car will continue to be imported from Thailand.
In addition, the car will also receive some upgrades in equipment, including adding new headlights/taillights and new wheels.
Inside the cabin, the new Corolla Cross may have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a larger 10.5-inch touch screen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and wireless charging. Toyota may also add a panoramic sunroof with an electronic parking brake with auto hold function.
The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross is expected to be launched in Thailand on February 8. In this country, the car can have up to 8 airbags and may receive an improved version of the Toyota Safety Sense system, adding active cruise control at all speeds.
Regarding engine options, Toyota may retain the 1.8L petrol engine and the 1.8L hybrid engine. The hybrid version may receive a new battery pack that allows the Corolla Cross to travel a longer distance in pure electric mode.
