Recently, Toyota has introduced the facelift version of the Hilux pickup truck. In this upgrade, the car has made significant improvements in design as well as equipment and engine.

Specifically, the new Toyota Hilux impresses with a newly designed hexagonal grille, accompanied by adjustable air intakes and an aluminum engine protection plate. The front bumper of the car has also been redesigned, making it more eye-catching.

Depending on each version, the grille and front bumper of the car will be designed differently for easy recognition.

Specifically, the WorkMate version will have a black honeycomb grille. The SR version will add a silver trim under the front bumper, while the SR5 version has a black upper grille, the LED lights are made in a dark shade. Details such as fog lights, mirror cover, door handles will be black accents.

The rear end of the car still maintains the same design as before, just adding a system to make opening and closing the rear door easier.

In terms of interior, each version will have different equipment. For example, the SR version will have 2 front parking sensors and 4 rear parking sensors.

The version using the 48 Volt system will have additional dual-zone automatic air conditioning, smart key, push-button start, and automatic windows. For the premium SR5, Rogue, and GR Sport versions, there will be wireless charging and two USB-C ports in the rear.

Under the hood of the 2024 Toyota Hilux is a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine with mild-hybrid technology that produces 203 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Toyota Australia did not go into details about the contribution of the 48V technology to the power and torque of the car, but in the EU version, it increases an additional 16 horsepower and 65 Nm of torque.

In addition, the car also has other engine options including a 2.8-liter and 2.4-liter diesel engine without hybrid technology, as well as a 2.7-liter gasoline engine, provided with a manual or automatic transmission, both in 4×2 and 4×4 versions.

All mild-hybrid versions of the Hilux are equipped with the Multi-Terrain Select system, providing 6 different driving modes for various types of terrain.

Currently, the 2024 Toyota Hilux in the Australian market has not been announced for the selling price. However, according to many rumors, the car will have a starting price ranging from 26,475 – 74,310 Australian dollars (equivalent to 425 million – 1.19 billion VND), depending on each version.

The versions with the 48 Volt mild-hybrid system will have slightly higher prices, ranging from 590 – 1,605 Australian dollars (equivalent to 9 – 26 million VND) compared to before.
