According to the Philippine media, VinFast is actively seeking senior management staff, similar to the recruitment methods used by other car brands in the past.
According to the Philippine car magazine Autoindustriya, VinFast has established a motorcycle office in the Philippines as a subsidiary, not a local distribution partner. In addition, the Vietnamese automaker is also actively promoting its image on social media.
Recently, there have been many posts on social media in the Philippines about VinFast electric vehicles running in Bonifacio Global City – a large financial business district in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Autoindustriya also stated that VinFast is actively recruiting experienced executive directors to assume important roles in the company. Similar to the way other brands have recruited key personnel in the past.
VinFast’s expansion into the Philippines market has been planned in advance. According to the “Future Mobility Asia 2023” exhibition held in May in Bangkok, Thailand, VinFast announced its plans to expand into the Southeast Asian market with a complete range of electric cars and introduce 4 electric car models internationally.
Le Thi Thu Thuy – Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast said, “Expanding into the Southeast Asian region is part of VinFast’s global development strategy. We aim to bring smart, safe, and seamless mobility solutions to the ASEAN countries, thereby promoting a green future for everyone.”
In recent years, the Philippines has been one of the top car consumption markets in Southeast Asia, after Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
