On February 8, 2024, Toyota introduced a new version of the Corolla Cross in the Thai market.
This model may also be introduced in the Vietnamese market this year. The reason is that the Toyota Corolla Cross in Vietnam is currently imported from Thailand.
In the 2024 version, the Toyota Corolla Cross has only a slight upgrade in terms of design, focusing on the front area of the car.
Specifically, this B-segment SUV is equipped with LED headlights with a new crystal design. This headlight cluster is divided into two layers by a daytime position LED strip in the middle. The upper layer is a new sequential turn signal while the lower layer is the main headlight cluster. This headlight cluster is directly taken from the vehicles intended for the Japanese and Chinese markets.
Furthermore, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 for the Thai market is also equipped with a new honeycomb grille with body-colored hexagonal patterns. This grille is designed without borders, similar to some Lexus models such as the new generation RX.
Another new feature in the front area is the air vent running vertically at two corners and the connecting strip between the headlights. Meanwhile, the front bumper and fog lights of the car have no design changes.
In addition, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 is also equipped with new alloy wheels with a diameter of 18 inches and a multi-spoke design, two-tone finish.
The rear lights of this model have the same overall design but the inner shape has been refreshed.
Inside the car, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 has some notable new features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen center display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Unfortunately, the engine of the car has no new changes. The car still has 2 engine options, the first is a 4-cylinder 1.8L gasoline engine for the standard version. Meanwhile, the remaining versions use a hybrid powertrain with a 1.8L gasoline engine and an electric motor.
In the Thai market, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 has 4 versions and prices range from 999,000 – 1,254,000 Baht (about 679 – 852 million VND).
Currently, dealers in Vietnam have also begun accepting deposits for this B-segment SUV. According to a sales consultant at the dealership, the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 for the Vietnamese market will remove the standard G version, only keeping 2 V and HV versions. This change will make the B+ segment SUV from Toyota have a higher starting price while creating a clearer distinction from its sibling, the Yaris Cross. Currently, the Toyota Corolla Cross has prices ranging from 760 – 955 million VND.
