Recently, the German luxury car brand – MINI has officially introduced the upgraded version of the new petrol-powered Cooper model.
Accordingly, the 2025 MINI Cooper petrol model with the code F66 will be developed based on the platform of the previous F56 generation. This is the 3rd major upgrade for this 3-door hatchback model.
The exterior of the 2025 MINI Cooper inherits many elements from the Cooper EV model. The front of the car impresses with a larger grille, accompanied by the characteristic round LED headlights. On the outside, there are also full-LED daytime running lights with a similar structure.
At the rear of the car, there are matrix LED taillights inspired by the distinctive British flag.
MINI states that the new Cooper “is equipped with a suspension and shock absorbers designed to provide responsive handling.” In addition, the car also has a high-performance brake system used to improve braking performance.
As for the interior, the cabin of the petrol-powered MINI Cooper features a minimalist design with a 4-seat configuration, but still impresses with its 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen entertainment system, integrated with the dashboard and air conditioning system. This screen integrates the Mini 9 operating system based on Android, which supports voice control.
The car also has a newly designed steering wheel, along with multiple options for interior upholstery materials, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, and a dual-tone dashboard.
Providing power for the petrol-powered Mini are two engine options: the Cooper C 1.5 turbocharged engine produces 154 horsepower and a maximum torque of 230 Nm, and the Cooper S 2.0 engine produces 201 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm.
Cooper 2025 is equipped with more safety features than the previous version. These include front radar sensors and 12 ultrasonic sensors. ADAS driving assistance functions such as traffic warning when opening doors, active lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control with distance keeping feature.
According to the plan, MINI Cooper 2025 will be officially released at the end of this year and first sold in the European market, then in other markets from early 2025.
The expected price of the car will be around $28,950 (about 707.1 million VND).
