At launch, the 2024 facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross offers 4 versions, including one gasoline engine variant and three hybrid variants. Among them, the 1.8L Sport Plus version is priced at 999,000 Baht (approximately 680 million Vietnamese Dong), the HEV Premium is priced at 1,094,000 Baht (approximately 745 million Vietnamese Dong), the HEV Premium Luxury is priced at 1,204,000 Baht (approximately 820 million Vietnamese Dong), and the HEV GR Sport is priced at 1,254,000 Baht (approximately 853 million Vietnamese Dong).
The exterior updates of the 2024 facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross for the Southeast Asian market are quite similar to the Corolla Cross sold in other markets.
One of the changes includes redesigned full-LED headlights, which are similar to the versions for the European and Japanese markets. The difference is that the car has a slimmer upper grille with a bee-like pattern that resembles the Lexus RX.
Additionally, the car also receives new headlights and sequential turn signals, similar to the Corolla Cross versions sold in other markets.
Other notable exterior highlights include a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate with foot sensor. The taillights are also LED with a new design.
The HEV Premium variant and above will receive 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels wrapped in 225/50R18 tires, while the GR Sport uses the same size tires but with a different alloy wheel design.
Developed on the TNGA platform, the Corolla Cross facelift continues to be equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.8L gasoline engine on the base gasoline variant and is also part of the hybrid powertrain.
Specifically, the gasoline engine remains the 2ZR-FBE 1.8L variant with 140 horsepower and 177 Nm of torque on the base 1.8 Sport Plus variant, and the 2ZR-FXE 1.8L engine with 122 horsepower for the remaining three hybrid variants.
In terms of active safety features, the base 1.8 Sport Plus variant has blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, while the HEV Luxury variant is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense system, which includes pre-collision warning, adaptive cruise control at all speeds, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic headlights. The HEV Premium Luxury and HEV GR Sport models receive parking assist braking feature.
Other active safety features include electronic stability control, traction control, ABS brakes, EBD, brake assist, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring, and 7 airbags.
Notable interior upgrades include an electronic parking brake with auto hold function. The HEV Premium Luxury variant and above are equipped with a 12.3-inch digital display, and all variants have a 10.1-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Corolla Cross facelift features seats upholstered in black or red leather. The cabin lighting now uses LED lights, and the top two variants have wireless charging and a panoramic sunroof.
