In January 2024, 14 Toyota dealers nationwide simultaneously launched an event to experience various Hybrid car models with many exciting activities, attracting the interest and participation of thousands of customers.

In the global trend of environmental protection and climate change mitigation, the Toyota Group has committed to achieving carbon neutrality in all activities by 2050 and in business production activities by 2035. To achieve this goal, the Japanese automaker has chosen a multi-dimensional approach, where in each country and region, Toyota will develop electrified vehicle models that are suitable for the infrastructure, financial capabilities, and mobility needs of users. In Vietnam, Toyota considers Hybrid vehicles as an immediate solution to reduce CO2 emissions. As of now, Toyota is the first automobile manufacturer to introduce Hybrid vehicles to the Vietnamese market and owns the largest lineup of hybrid electric vehicles with 6 models: Corolla Cross Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, Corolla Altis Hybrid, Yaris Cross Hybrid, Innova Cross Hybrid, and Alphard Hybrid. With a wide range of products spanning different segments, Toyota Hybrid vehicles have gained the trust and preference of Vietnamese users, with nearly 8,500 vehicles sold in the market as of December 2023.

To continuously promote and develop the environmentally friendly Hybrid vehicle product line, in January 2024, 14 Toyota dealerships organized simultaneous events to experience the Hybrid models. The event began at the Toyota Giai Phong – Phap Van dealership on January 6, 2024 and concluded on January 27, 2024 at the Toyota Gia Lai and Toyota An Suong dealerships. The events were professionally organized by the dealerships and featured meaningful activities, including workshops to share useful information about Hybrids and vehicle care, consultations and Q&A sessions, test drives and vehicle experiences, participation in mini-games with valuable prizes, and attractive sales policies.

The event will continue in February and March.

The events received the attention and participation of a wide range of users, including Toyota Hybrid owners, potential buyers, users of Hybrid vehicles from other brands who were interested in exploring Toyota’s Hybrid models, etc. In addition, many dealerships organized meaningful activities for children, such as workshops to decorate stone lotus flowers, with the hope of nurturing green spaces for the environment at the Toyota Okayama Da Nang. Many participants freely shared their experiences and personal perspectives on Toyota’s Hybrid models, creating a space for objective and interesting information exchange.

Among the activities of the event, the Hybrid vehicle test drives were the most popular activity for participants. Mr. Le Hoang (38 years old, Hanoi) shared: “I test drove the Innova Cross Hybrid because I am considering buying this car. What I value the most is the smooth and quiet ride of the vehicle. The various safety features equipped on this model also function effectively in practical operations, such as cruise control, collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist.”

In addition, the Corolla Cross Hybrid, Corolla Altis Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, and Yaris Cross Hybrid models also received attention and direct experience from many customers. “We had the opportunity to engage with customers who were interested in or considering purchasing Hybrid vehicles. This allowed us to better understand the concerns and thoughts of customers about Toyota’s green vehicles. From there, dealerships and the brand can provide appropriate solutions to convey information to users, helping customers feel reassured and confident in choosing Hybrid vehicles,” shared a representative from a Toyota dealership in the Northern region.

With the advantages of fuel efficiency, reduced environmental emissions, and suitability for the current infrastructure conditions, as well as a wide range of product offerings in various segments, Toyota Hybrid vehicles in Vietnam are expected to continue to increase sales and become the top choice for customers in the transition phase from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles.
