The interior space of the MG3 2024 has been completely redesigned, with the standout feature being the dual-screen cluster on the dashboard.
MG has confirmed that the third generation of the MG3 will be launched globally on February 26th at the 2024 Geneva International Motor Show.
Prior to the official launch, MG has released the first teaser images of the interior of this model, showing that the car cabin has been completely redesigned. The standout feature on the dashboard is the dual-screen cluster consisting of an infotainment screen and control panel. It also features a larger gear control similar to the one on the MG4. In addition, the seats are upholstered in leather with diamond stitching, along with premium decorative details.
Although this is the first time MG has officially released images of the MG3, we have already predicted its design through leaked images and patent drawings. It is expected that the MG3 2024 will resemble a compact version of the MG5 and MG7 models, applying the brand’s latest design language.
The front of the car has a sharper nose along with a menacing headlight cluster. The center air intake is enlarged to compensate for the lack of a grille and add additional aerodynamic vents. The shape of the car is more angular, with curved lines reminiscent of the Seat Ibiza model. At the rear, the MG3 2024 has horizontal taillights and a sporty rear bumper.
MG has also confirmed plans to replace the current petrol engine with a new Hybrid Plus system. Although specific technical specifications have not been disclosed, it is predicted that the self-charging hybrid system will include a 1.5-liter petrol engine, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery pack.
The MG3 2024 is expected to be sold in Europe, the UK, and the Asia-Pacific region shortly after its debut in Geneva. It is expected that this hatchback will still have a competitive price, similar to its predecessor.
