After the “naval battle”, the electric car remains safe and sound

In the first stage, the “Green Driving – Win the Gold Dragon” contest targeting the VinFast electric vehicle user community received hundreds of entries. Many people said they always wanted to share their experiences from using VinFast electric cars in real life, and the contest was a great opportunity to do so.

One of the entries that made a strong impression on readers and received thousands of interactions and comments in just a few days after being posted was an article by customer Nguyen Thi Nhung from Thai Nguyen. On her personal Facebook page, she recounted the “dramatic” experience with her VF 8 electric car during a business trip in Yen Bai in October 2023.

Ms. Nhung said that on the day she was on her business trip, it rained heavily all night in Yen Bai. When it was about to dawn, after being warned by nearby residents, she was “startled” to find her VF 8 submerged in water. Worried that the car was damaged, Ms. Nhung quickly started the engine to find higher ground to avoid the water, but the further she went, the deeper the water became. After traveling for 1km, she finally found a high spot to stop and call for rescue the next morning to take the car back to the workshop.

Immersed in the high water for a long time, although the car still functioned, a considerable amount of water had entered the car. Ms. Nhung shared that she “cried out of worry,” but when the VinFast technical department informed her that the VF 8 only needed to be cleaned and dried, and there was no other issues, she breathed a sigh of relief.

She admitted that if it had been a gasoline-powered car, she could have been stranded in the dark of night. “I am truly grateful to VinFast for producing such an amazing car!” she wrote on her personal page.

Ms. Nhung trusts VinFast electric cars even more after the incident of her car being submerged in water.

A smart companion surpassing its segment

For Ms. Le Nguyen, the VF 5 Plus car brings her more than just a means of transportation. She calls her car a “smart companion” after a journey of over 1,000 km together. The woman jokingly “blamed” the VF 5 Plus car for being “too smart,” especially the virtual assistant that is always enthusiastic and polite. Whenever the owner opens her mouth, the virtual assistant quickly serves her, from opening the radio, playing music to answering countless questions such as: “What day is today?”, “Are there any events today?”, “What is the weather forecast for the next few days?”

The female customer happily shared that on a relaxed day, she asked jokingly, “VinFast, do you have a boyfriend?” The virtual assistant paused for a moment and replied, “No.” She immediately asked, “Will you be my boyfriend?” The “car friend” replied, “Oh, you’re confessing to me,” and then quickly agreed with a humorous tone.

Together with the smart virtual assistant, the VF 5 Plus electric car is “more perceptive than imagined” with a series of safety warnings such as rear vehicle cutting warnings, door-opening warnings, and blind spot warnings. “Too thoughtful” is her praise for VF 5 Plus. The advanced features help the car owner focus better, handle situations better, even for new drivers.

Moreover, VinFast’s electric car model helps her easily manage all situations, from creating, tracking, and remembering personal profiles; synchronizing information and data to optimize performance; navigating, guiding, remote car positioning support; monitoring and tracking journeys… “The other day in a crowded parking lot, while struggling, as soon as I pressed the lock, it immediately responded, ‘I’m here!’”, Ms. Le happily recalled.

VinFast electric cars, beloved by customers, are called “smart road companions”

The woman admitted that the smart and modern features of the VF 5 Plus exceed other SUV models in the same segment. “I am very happy to be one of the pioneers to experience the excellent features that you bring. Please always be a lovely and intelligent friend like that – VinFast VF 5 Plus!” Ms. Le Nguyen expressed her emotions in the ending part of the article.

Like Ms. Le, the VF 8 car owner with the Facebook account “Tran Tung Quan” also admitted that his family, especially his children, enjoy listening to funny stories from the intelligent assistant in the car. The special thing that his family first experienced was riding in an electric car with no gasoline smell. Therefore, the whole family doesn’t worry about getting car sick and has the opportunity to travel together wherever since owning the VF 8.

What Mr. Quan is most assured of is the extremely low operating cost of the electric car. He calculated that the cost of “taking care of the car” is only about 600-700 VND/km for pioneering customers like him.
