Ford Puma is an SUV introduced in 2019. After more than 4 years, Ford has released an updated version of this model in the European market.

Externally, the smallest SUV of the Ford brand in Europe looks not much different from the previous version. This model is equipped with a new design inside the LED headlight cluster. Among them, the headlight with Dynamic Matrix LED technology is an optional feature of this B-size SUV.

Next is the improved grille and the positioning of the Ford logo, making the new Puma look like its discontinued sibling, the Fiesta. In addition, the car also has a new exterior color called Cactus Grey.

Compared to the exterior, the interior of the Ford Puma 2024 has more notable changes. Among them, the most outstanding is the larger touchscreen display with a size of 12 inches, integrated with the latest SYNC 4 entertainment system from Ford. Behind the steering wheel is a new 12.8-inch digital instrument cluster, which is the same type used for the Ford Tourneo Courier.

In the new version, this B-size SUV is equipped with 5G connectivity and a new integrated voice control feature, Alexa. However, the downside of the Ford Puma 2024 is the absence of physical climate control buttons.

Another change in the Ford Puma 2024 is the upgraded ADAS active safety technology package. This package includes the adaptive cruise control system with Lane Centering and Predictive Speed Assist. Lane Centering is a feature that keeps the car in the middle of the lane. Meanwhile, Predictive Speed Assist adjusts the vehicle’s speed according to road conditions and the speed limit based on information from the traffic sign recognition system.

This B-size SUV is equipped with more amenities and safety features but has lost an engine and a gearbox. Specifically, the previous 4-cylinder 1.5L petrol engine and manual gearbox have been removed. The car only retains the mild hybrid drivetrain with a 3-cylinder 1.0L petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 123 horsepower or 153 horsepower, depending on the version. The engine is paired with a manual or automatic transmission.

By the end of this year, the car will be supplemented with a new all-electric version called Ford Puma Gen-E. In addition to the engine, the Puma Gen-E also has a different body kit and a closed grille.

In the European market, the Ford Puma 2024 has 4 equipment versions, including Titanium, ST-Line, ST-Line X, and ST. The price of this B-size SUV has not been announced yet.
