Incentive program for the 3 models Honda HR-V, Civic, and Accord
The trio of imported cars Honda HR-V, Civic, and Accord have not achieved high sales in the Vietnamese market. The main reason leading to this situation is the higher selling price compared to competitors in the same segment.
In 2023, Honda sold 3,804 HR-V to Vietnamese customers, ranking 4th in the segment after Hyundai Creta, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Kia Seltos. Meanwhile, the corresponding figure for Honda Civic is 1,222 cars, ranking last in the C-segment sedan segment.
With Honda Accord, this D-segment sedan only achieved a sales figure of 58 cars and was at the bottom of the segment. At the same time, Honda Accord also continues to be listed as one of the least popular models in the Vietnamese market last year.
The new incentive program may help the trio Honda HR-V, Civic, and Accord maintain their attractiveness in this downturn period of the Vietnamese auto market.
