Kia Tasman is currently undergoing extensive camouflage to conceal its exterior design. However, enthusiasts won’t have to wait too long as the digital artists at NYMammoth channel have created a rendering of the exterior design for this pickup model.
Rendering of the Kia Tasman exterior design by NYMammoth
The vehicle in NYMammoth’s rendering has a powerful and masculine design with strong, angular lines. The front of the car captures attention with its large grille, rugged front bumper, and prominent stacked headlights.
Additionally, we can also see square-shaped wheel arches with Tasman lettering on the body panel. The sturdy and impressive wheel rims also feature a sporty design.
Expected to be produced at an annual volume of 120,000 to 130,000 units, the Kia Tasman will be available not only in the Korean market but also in major overseas markets such as North America and Australia.
Prototype testing of the Kia Tasman
Tasman is predicted to showcase Kia’s latest design language. The South Korean automaker plans to introduce various versions of the Tasman, with the first version expected to have a dual-cab configuration equipped with a diesel engine. The powertrain is expected to combine a 2.2L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine and a V6 3.0L diesel engine, accompanied by a four-wheel drive system.
Furthermore, the vehicle may also be offered with options for a twin-turbocharged 3.3L V6 gasoline engine and potentially an all-electric version in the future.
Kia Tasman is expected to be equipped with off-road driving assist features such as four-wheel drive system, differential lock, and terrain modes.
In the global market, Kia Tasman will compete with models such as Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger, GMC Canyon, Honda Ridgeline, and Nissan Frontier.
