At the ongoing Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024 in the archipelago country, Honda has officially unveiled a new special edition of its small-size MPV, the BR-V. The name of this version is named after the Honda N7X concept car that was introduced in 2021. N7X is also the concept version of the second-generation Honda BR-V.
According to Honda, the company has conducted market research and learned that customers want to own a family car with a stylish design, comfortable interior, good performance, and sufficient safety features. Honda said that the BR-V currently on the market has met most of these criteria. Therefore, Honda mainly focuses on changing the exterior of the BR-V when developing the N7X Edition.

The highlight of the Honda BR-V N7X Edition lies in the new Sand Khaki Pearl exterior paint. This will be a paint color exclusively for this special version of the MPV model. This color is chosen because it represents classic, elegant, and timeless traits.
As one of Honda’s favorite colors, Sand Khaki Pearl was first used for the new-generation HR-V, launched in 2022. Since its launch, Sand Khaki Pearl has become one of the most popular colors among customers.

In addition to the paint color, the Honda BR-V N7X Edition is also equipped with a new aerodynamic body kit, including wind deflectors on the roof, sides, and rear. In addition, there are chrome exterior details such as the grille, front fog light surround, and the Honda logo.

To enhance the sporty look of this small-size MPV, Honda also uses glossy black exterior details such as mirror covers, door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, fender trim, roof spoiler, and rear bumper trim.

In contrast to the exterior, the interior of the Honda BR-V N7X Edition does not change much compared to the standard version. The car continues to have a 3-row, 7-seat interior. All seats, steering wheel, and gear lever of the car are covered in black leather.
Under the hood of the Honda BR-V N7X Edition is still the familiar 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 121 horsepower and a maximum torque of 145 Nm. The engine is combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive.

The advanced driver assistance package Honda Sensing naturally appears on the BR-V N7X Edition. Specifically, the car has a collision mitigation braking system, headlights assist, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, lane departure mitigation, and adaptive cruise control system. The LaneWatch lane watch system, remote engine start, auto door lock when the key is out of the sensor area, and smart key are also equipped for this MPV model.
In the Indonesian market, the Honda BR-V N7X Edition has 3 equipment versions and prices range from 319.4 to 363.4 million Rupiah (about 498 – 567 million VND). It is currently unclear whether this car will be sold in Vietnam after Indonesia.
