According to speculation, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is rumored to be getting a high-performance Ralliart version in the near future.
Reportedly, in 2022, Mitsubishi will revive its sports division Ralliart after being dormant for about 12 years. The Japanese automaker plans to use this division to diversify its lineup of sports/high-performance vehicles.
According to Japan’s Best Car magazine, Mitsubishi will introduce the Outlander PHEV Ralliart in the third quarter of next year. The base model will be based on the Vision Ralliart concept unveiled in 2023.
This information has not been officially confirmed by Mitsubishi. However, if true, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Ralliart will be the first complete high-performance model under the Ralliart brand.
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Ralliart is expected to feature a more aggressive and sportier design. In addition to the bodykit, the Ralliart version will also have reinforced chassis and tweaked suspension to enhance both sporty driving experience and off-road capability.
The power output of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Ralliart is expected to be 286 horsepower, slightly higher than the standard hybrid version’s 248 horsepower.
The high-performance model is projected to have a price ranging from 5.5 – 6 million yen (equivalent to 901.2 – 983.1 million VND).
In addition to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Ralliart, the Japanese automaker may also introduce a high-performance version for the Triton pickup truck in the future.
