Scarbo Vintage – the company behind the legendary Ken Block’s Hoonipigasus Pikes Peak race car, made a comeback in early 2024 with a high-performance SUV that boasts 1,100 horsepower.
This SUV is called SV Rover and it is designed to compete in the FAT International Ice Racing Championship in Aspen, Colorado, USA. Although reminiscent of a classic Land Rover, the SV Rover has been extensively modified by the tuning company. The body is made of aluminum and carbon fiber, reducing weight to a minimum while maintaining necessary rigidity.

Customers can choose between a twin-turbocharged V8 engine generating 1,100 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, or a 1,005 horsepower electric drivetrain with a 75-kWh battery. Regardless of the drivetrain, power is sent to all four wheels through a high and low-range gearbox, with front and rear limited-slip differentials.
According to Scarbo Vintage, the SV Rover features an air suspension system with adjustable ground clearance. At the bottom, there is a set of 40-inch tires mounted on 20-inch rims and 15.7-inch Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with 6-piston calipers.

Inside, the car is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, and minimal convenience features including automatic climate control, power-adjustable door locks, and power windows. Additionally, the car offers a spacious cargo area at the rear.

The SV Rover has a starting price of $1.5 million (approximately 36.8 billion VND). Scarbo Vintage notes that all cars are produced on a made-to-order basis, so the price of each specific vehicle will vary depending on customer requirements.
