The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP still uses the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, delivering 208 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm, just like the Streetfighter V4 S, but with a six-speed gearbox with upgraded DQS EVO 2 system.
In addition, the Streetfighter V4 SP is equipped with an electronic suspension system, including Ohlins NIX30 40mm forks and Ohlins TTX36 monoshock, both fully adjustable. The steering damper also uses a component from Ohlins. The braking system remains a double disc system with 330mm discs and Brembo Monobloc Stylema calipers at the front, and a single 245mm disc with two-piston calipers at the rear.
When compared to the Streetfighter V4 S, the SP version is also 3kg lighter (dry weight), with a record-breaking weight of 177kg, achieved through the use of carbon fiber front rims and mudguards. The footpegs are made of aluminum and carbon fiber, and a lithium-ion battery is also used.
In terms of safety and electronics, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP 2022 is equipped with various riding modes and assistance systems, including ABS EVO cornering, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Ducati Slide Control (DSC), Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, automatic tire calibration, Ducati Power Launch, and Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP in 2022 also stands out with its Winter Test-inspired livery, featuring black matte carbon fiber accents and red highlights.
