Mercedes-Benz Vietnam to introduce 3 new car models: SL 63, Maybach EQS 680 SUV, and AMG C 63

Mr. Brad Kelly – CEO of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam announced that this year, the company will launch 3 new models: C 63 S E Performance, SL 63 S E Performance, and Maybach EQS 680 SUV. Among them, the Maybach EQS 680 SUV attracts special attention as the brand’s most luxurious model.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV

Maybach EQS 680 SUV is the first all-electric model under the Mercedes-Maybach brand, developed based on the EQS SUV line and inspired by the Maybach GLS 600.

The overall design of the Maybach EQS 680 SUV is similar to the EQS SUV model but is enhanced with the characteristic vertical grille of the Maybach line, a two-tone body, unique designed wheels, and the Maybach logo on the C-pillar.

As for the interior, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV is configured with 4 seats, with luxury amenities focused on the second row. The premium equipment on this model includes the MBUX Hyperscreen system spanning the dashboard, premium leather seats with air conditioning/massage/neck heating functions, Burmester 4D surround sound system, and an 11.2-inch entertainment screen for the rear seats.

This luxury SUV is equipped with two electric motors with a power output of 649 horsepower and a torque of 950 Nm. According to tests, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. In addition, the car is also equipped with a large-capacity battery, providing a driving range of about 600 km according to WLTP standards.

Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance

At the end of November 2023, Mercedes-Benz announced the launch of the AMG SL 63 S E Performance in the Vietnamese market with a price of up to 12.29 billion VND. However, it wasn’t until this year that the convertible sports car was officially delivered to customers.

Compared to the SL 43 version, the SL 63 S E model stands out with the AMG Carbon Package, featuring carbon highlights and AMG 21-inch sports wheels.

The highlight of this model is the V8 4.0L Biturbo engine assembled by AMG, delivering 816 horsepower and a torque of 1,420 Nm, combined with all-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 315 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance

Last year, Mercedes Vietnam confirmed the sale of the imported German Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance in November 2023. However, the plan was delayed until 2024.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance is the highest-performance version of the C-Class, surpassing the C 43 S Performance (price 2.96 billion VND).

Mercedes AMG C63 S E Performance new generation is equipped with a hybrid electric motor with a 2.0-liter inline-4 gasoline engine and an electric motor for a total power output of 671 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,020 Nm. In pure electric mode, the car can travel up to a maximum distance of 13 km. With its powerful engine, this model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
